Hi. So, last night's Battle of the Bands. What an amazing night! We feel we played a pretty tight set, even better considering our first gig with the current line up, and the first gig in over a year! Unfortunately, we didn't make it through to the final (a bit of a bummer), but the feedback we got from fans was amazing. To me hearing that from the people who watched means way more than the judges not putting us through to the final! So a big thanks to everyone who came down to support us and for your kind words afterwards. For those who weren't aware, our brief spell with singer Tom was not to be. Graham heroically learnt the songs in one night, and performed them excellently, in my and many other's opinion. We'll let you know if this will be the permanent situatuion as soon as! Anyway, I ramble on. Seriously, it is great to be back! Cheers!

Hi. It's Me!!! (Alan) Wow it's my first attempt at writing something for the site! Sorry if it's rubbish, but now you know why. We are in the Telford Battle of the Bands, which is being held at Brileigh's, Oakengates (above Kebab Ye!!!). We're on on the 26th August at 8.00 (P.M.), and thats a thursday. It would be great to see some support from old friends / haters, so if you have time pop along and see us. If you don't like us, have a kebab! They're good! Theres a cheap entry fee, but thats nothing compared to the amazingness of PINE! Cool. See you at V2004!!! (if you're going). (Go to V2004 you losers!!!). Thanks.

Lack of updates recently, I'm sorry! Been quite busy, but hopefully things will change and me and Al will be able to make this site good. Maybe. Anyway. Tom is now in and we are going to start writing some new material, which will (fingers crossed) be are best stuff to date. Thanks to anyone who came along and saw us play a short acoustic set at Wrockwardine Wood Holy Trinity a few weeks back, it's much appreciated. We may be playing a charity gig at the sutherland school in a while, as well as possibly even trying to get our act together and get into the next Telford BOB. Cool. If anyone wants to give us a gig (Hint! Hint!) please drop us an email and we can get in touch. Have fun and enjoy summer... Wahey!

So yeah, the Battle of the Bands at Wrockers has been cancelled, due to lack of support. Hopefully it is being rescheduled for the autumn. However, some positive news as close friend of Alan and I, Tom, has shown an interest in giving the position of singer ago. I will put some more information when decisions and the rest of that kind of lark have been sorted. In the meanwhile, check out this track from Tom's solo album. Its kinda alterna-pop stuff. Okay... We shall be making a return hopefully next week, on wednesday to be exact at the Wrockwardine Wood Arts College Battle of the Bands! Hopefully we will be playing something old and something new - a taster of our current direction. tickets are £2 and the event starts at 7.00pm. More information when I get it!

After just over a year as Drivingblind, it has been decided that a change of name is in order, as the old name no longer represents what we have become musically - as we are a totally different band in essence with a new lineup. We are still looking for a singer so if you are interested, read this:
Punctual if Nothing Else are looking for a vocalist in the Telford area to complete their line up. we are looking for a vocalist of the same kind of vein of somewhere between FAR and FUGAZI, u know what we mean? We are looking for talent, not time wasters, and with this talent we would like a blend of commitment, dedication, and of couse, punctuality. We already have songs written and have gigs offered which we have had to turn down. not good. waiting to record a new CD. Our influences are pretty vast accross the rock spectrum, including Biffy Clyro, Hundred Reasons, Deftones, Far and Muse.
